Following an award-winning run at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and sold-out performances at Manhattan Theatre Club and St. James Theatre in London, writer/performer Benjamin Scheuer shared his gripping coming-of-age tale with a downtown audience at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre .

Directed by Sean Daniels, The Lion is a candid, poignant, and charming solo musical from a songwriter who, according to The New York Times, “gets to the heart of the matter.”
