Arthur Miller’s The Crucible returned to Broadway in a new production directed by the acclaimed Belgian director Ivo van Hove, which earned four Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Play. Set during the Salem witch trials of the 1690s, The Crucible is a timeless parable of morality, a scorching indictment of intolerance, and a central work in the canon of American drama. 

 Who’s Who in the Cast: Academy Award nominee Saoirse Ronan as Abigail Williams and BAFTA Award winner Ben Whishaw as John Proctor.   They were joined onstage by Ciaran HindsSophie OkonedoTavi Gevinson and Jim Norton.
